Black Children’s Book Week

Under Black Baby Books we also founded Black Children’s Book Week, a week to celebrate Black children and the people who make sure they are represented in their books and other media.

SOCIAL ISSUE: Black children are negatively affected by racism, which can cause anxiety and fear, and place an unjust and unacceptable burden on their growth and development. We must all be intentional about making sure they feel our love. Black Children’s Book Week is dedicated to this mission.
